Every Region should have something along those lines since we can't get anything else.

Wonder if it might be worthwhile to have either the Treas. send an invitation to each individual member to contact the region director or give the info to the director and have them contact the member and see what if any interest is there for something along those lines.

Maybe even to the point of letting the regions foot the bill for incorp. a "club". Might not be feasible in Oregon with the $50.00 a year fee though.

Article II, Section 3 of the Bylaws states: Limitations on vehicles will be that they are 4-wheel drive vehicles. (This section applies only to voting members)

Question: Does this mean that PNW club members must own a 4x4? Our own club bylaws state that members must have an operable 4x4 vehicle. Do individual members of the PNW have to own a 4x4? Will they if they join an individual members "club"? Just wondering...

By that reasoning, 4x4 quad and the new side by side quads would be eligible. Also we have been letting 2wd run at summer convention. Should be left up to the "club". If they want to spend the money to support us, lets not be throwing up any more road blocks for them. They will end up frustrated (even more than now) and tell us to stick it in our ear (or somewhere else).

And this is getting out in left field from where it started, Hope you get some takers Jim.

I am not suggesting one way or another...I am just asking for the parlimentarian's interpretation of this bylaw article. What does it mean????

maybe this is something that the Region Should do instead of piling more on the treas?

Agree, I just put both ways out there. Contact from the Director would be on a more local, personal level.

Might pull some of this out to another thread and keep the original thought in place rather than the tangent it is going?
