This trip also didn't seem to fit into any of the above categories, but this was a two day trip we took down Oregon's Barlow Road in July 2008. For those who don't know, the Barlow Road was the end of the Oregon trail (well the part that led to the Portland area) and I guess would be the equivalent of the Naches Trail in Washington....

Does anybody have any more info on this trail?

Some of it was accessable (road), don't know now that Mt. Hood N.F. has got the TMP done. Would have to check with the main office to see what is available.

Would be worthwhile to start working on desigination and getting it back for use. I don't know how much of it falls in desiginated wilderness now that just under 47% of the forest is designated wilderness or critical watershed and off limits to motorized.
