Racing

If this does not belong here mod's then please move it.

During TTCW I realized that I like competing, so I am wondering if there is a class in the pnw that I might be competitive in(not looking to win, just not getting blown out)? Are all the races just barrel racing? Are there any trail racing? I have a trail jeep(TJ 6 cyl low gears and 36" rubber) and cant afford another rig so I was wondering if there was a class where I might be something like a trail jeep class.

I see the rules are being re constructed but what safety equipment would I need?

Thanks
Jon

Yes Jon theres a street and trail class where you must be street legal to run in. Most playdays have a cross country and OB course and some are just like racing on trails. for the safety rulescontact your regional comp chair or Rob Stafford (pnw4wda comp chair) his contact info is on the front page under officers.

Theres a street and trail class. I thought it was on thefront page, under comp rules, but I couldn't seem to find it. I'm sure somebody could get you an electronic version of the class specs to look at.
