Might try to get hold of Ralph K. from Cascade Offroad. The club had a track that they brought to W/C in Eugene at Valley River. Don't know if they still have it kicking around or not. It was a two piece affair and would need either a pickup or small trailer to transport it.

Thanks Alan & Art! Tried to get ahold of Ralph but he is no longer in the Assoc. with no luck even wehn we asked others to give him our number ~~~~~
Anyhoo - MAYBE just maybe a club or a few fellas up here would be willing to create and build a track for some fun.

Anyone up to the challenge???
More later possibly.

How about maybe the comp committee building it, and charge something like $5 per entry to run. Might pay for the track and in the future have a few bucks for comp needs.

PM sent.

Are we required to pre-register in order to attend? If I decide to come over it will be a last minute thing. We won't need a hotel room.

No you don't have to pre-register to attend the Winter Convention business meeting. It starts at 9 AM Saturday. If you wanted to attend the banquet/dance, or purchase T-shirts then you have to.

Dates are 13 to 15 so what's the schedule and how many nights should I reserve? I'm figuring the 13 and 14 and driving home the 15th?

Winter Convention information is available on the PNW's web site on the home page where you can download and print all the information. As Jim said, Friday night is a social event with Hospitality room where you can purchase a Hospitality mug for $10 each and that is a bottomless beer mug (soft drinks will be available too) snacks will also be provided. This will begin around 7 PM. Saturday is the business meeting and it is open to all and that starts at 9 AM. You will be on your own for lunch, meeting will adjourn about 4 PM. The Dinner/Dance starts with a no host bar at 6 PM. We have extended the deadline for ordering t-shirts until the 29th of January. Dinner/dance registrations at $40 each and you have a choice of Prime Rib or Chicken Marsala or Vegetarian. You are responsible for making your own motel reservations at the Clarion. When you call them tell them that you are with the PNW so you will get the rate of $79 per night plus tax and hotel fees. Most people are staying Friday and Saturday nights.
Hope this information helps.
