Valve Cover Races/ Winter Convention

I know there was some interest in Valve cover Races for winter Convention, and I couldn't locate the one that was used before, so I found this. Here is a link to information on track dimensions, and car requirements.

It would be cool to have that at WC. Can anyone confirm or deny that it is going to happen?

As of R4 mtg it was a no go as we cannot locate a track even one that the hotrod club had here in Yakima. Since then, there has been many calls to find or build a track.
If we can get a track to the hotel - we will have them!

Not a straight answer but as of right now, its all I have for you.

Update, I have a track we can use for just $25.00 for the entire weekend.
it's 32" long and will fit in the back of a standard pickup. Just let me know and I will bring it with me on Friday mid afternoon. (509-467-4177 ).

I hope it is 32 feet long not 32 inches long!

If it's only 32" long, a straight 6 would have quite the advantage over a small block.
