Operation Shore Patrol - 2010

Operation Shore Patrol will be celebrating its 39th year September 18th & 19th; participants can register at any of the following three locations:

Ocean City State Park, 148 Star Route 115, Ocean Shores (North Beach Area), for information and campsite reservations contact Angela Holm (206)617-9478.

Twin Harbors State Park, 420 State Hwy 105 S, Grayland (South Beach Area), for infomation and campsite reservations contact Bob & Barb Woolery (360) 893-8447.

Cape Disappointment State Park, 244 Robert Gray Drive, Ilwaco (Long Beach Area), for information and campsite reservations contact Linda Jessen (360) 560-4598.

Local merchants and service groups plan some breakfast, lunch and dinner opportunities for the volunteers and at each location there are various scheduled events and activities taking place for young and old alike.

Bring a camera - "you never know what you may find this year on the beach" - also come prepared for any kind of weather Shore Patrol will take place "rain or shine." ###

I intend to participate in the Long Beach Peninsula OSP the year but I will need to ride along with someone. My Cherokee is still DOA...

Who will be here and can I ride along with you? I can meet you at the camp ground.

Long Beach Request -

I have forwarded the above request on transportation needs to the Operation Shore Patrol Chairman for follow up - check in at Cape Disappoinment State Park (OSP) registration desk - I'm sure there will be plenty of room for a passenger.

Thanks for your support.

I have some bad news....

I may not be able to make it this year. I may have the flu and don't want anyone getting sick because of me.

If I feel significantly better by the weekend, I'll be there!

What time does sign up start at Twin harbour's on Saturday? When are the low tides?

I went from possible show, to no show this year.

My Son's, my wife's and My mother in laws Birthday parties are happening all at the same time. I wish I could attend and help, but it's just not gonna work out this year!

Sorry guys!

With any luck I might be able to swing in, but i doubt it. I also have to run a flea market table (not my choice, I was voted in to do it) at our local grange Saturday Morning.....
