That would make a great commuter rig. Not alot of power. I think Diesel Power Magazine has done some writeups on that engine.

I earned my living off these things for a decade... If you have any questions about the fuel system / performance just send me a note. They can be made to run quite decently, but both the mechanic and the pump guy need to know what they're doing.

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking... I was a fuel injection guy, who did more of those things than I could ever tally, back in the 90's. One has to know the engines a bit, how to time them, and the pump rebuilder needs to have a sharp eye and keen observation to get these things to run well.

We've seen lots of blazers and half tons that could spin the tires off the line, once properly tuned.
