I had nothing to do with the current forums, but I created the region map that is on the club listing page and much of the other code and pages on the site.

Alan My May Would you mind schooling me on how you created the lines on the map?

That was eons ago, but I think I took one or more screen shots of a mapping program or site (MapQuest?), loaded them into an image editing program, then traced over the state boundaries and major highways.

Attached is a version where I loaded the old image into MSPaint and did some crappy editiing to reflect the new Region 5 boundary.

Very nice, nailed 5's southern edge, which was the only change. Sweet, thanks much:wave:

Thanks Alan, but How did you know what numbers to manipulate to get the clickable area adjusted?

I would assume any decent HTML editor would let you edit it by drawing the areas on the screen. Lacking such a tool, I would (and just did):

Open the image in MSPaint.
Scale the image to match the height and width in the image tag (548x349).
Draw the new boundaries, while paying close attention to the coordinates displayed in the status bar at the bottom of the MSPaint window and noting where I clicked at the end of each line and also looking at the existing values for the old boundary between regions 6 and 8 that will become the new boundary between regions 5 and 8.
DO NOT save the image. We're only editing it to find the coordinates of the boundaries.

Bottom line for a "close enough for volunteer work" result:

In the area tag for region 5 change
315, 201, 230, 228
315, 201, 296, 228, 310, 239, 305, 255, 250, 220, 230, 228

In the area tag for region 6 change
230, 228, 315, 201, 296, 228, 310, 239, 305, 225
230, 228, 250, 220, 305, 225
