TSF Memorial Day Weekend 2013
Piston's Wild hosted the Evergreen Crawlers at TSF this Memorial Day weekend. People started to arrive as early as Wednesday and by Saturday everyone had arrived. I was one of those that couldnt make it until Sat.
On hwy 26 Saturday morning
One last stop for fuel
Me leading 16 vehicles
The top of University Firepower
The Tacoma and the FJ80 on Cedar Tree trail
Squeezing the S-10 under the tree
Running Firebreak 5
The X-90 needing a little help
Upper section of Firebreak 5
Cutting it close
And a little fun
Ran over to Airplane hill to run the filters
Once in Ryan decided to try Airplane hill while everyone else watched
And I believe that it was right around here where he broke his front axle
More winching, A broken snatch block, and more winching and we had Ryan to the top of the trail!
Broken axle, starting problems, burnt up winch, It was a well earned cowbell
Back at camp for a Saturday night potluck dinner
Sunday morning I was leading 15 rigs headed down hwy 6 towards trask.
First trail was Rogers Road
Then on to Stick in the Nose
About 2/3 of the way down Stick in the Nose there were front end issues. After about 2 hours of trail wrenching we were back on our way
Working our way over to Archers
It took a while but we finally made it to the V-Notch on the west side of Archers
Headed towards Waterfall
At Waterfall there where two TJ's and a Zuki buggy that were trying to make the climb. Two out of the three made it but it was all throttle no brain...
Then this little XJ on 33's took a stab at it
Picked the correct line
And barely slipped a tire while the throttle jockey's stood there in disbelieve.
I had to take off for town after that but there were more that tried waterfall that succeeded. For more pictures check out our forum or our Facebook page.

Love it when someone walks up an obstacle with "class" after others roll the jeans up past the knee to get deeper in the gas either can't make it of break something with foolishness.
