Trying to lacate a former PNW4WDA Race rig

I was recently contacted by a former PNW4WDA Member that used to race during the '70's and '80's. His Name is Robert Vorak and he is once again living in the Northwest, and would love to locate, purchace, and restore his former race rig known as "Halfbreed". At the time it was one of the very first "narrowed" body fiberglass race rigs of its kind. When it was owned and raced by him, it ran a Chev 4 cyl engine, and was orange with custom pin striping.

As many of you know, once you have the PNW4WDA racing in your blood, it's there for life! :DaisyDuke:

If anyone has any information that would be helpfull in helping Bob find his former race rig, he can be reached at 253-875-3645 or robertvorak@comcast.net. It would be fun being a part of restoring this piece of PNW4WDA history.....

I asked Gary Marshell about this and heres the best I can do.
Al downs bought the rig from Bob Vorak he then sold it to Randy Gregg who in turn sold it to Steve Carter who managed to bust it up pretty good stadium racing. Gary now has some of it in his current racer. Steve may still have the original body but Gary said it was pretty well destroyed and didnt know if it was ever repaired. Most of the jeep has been scatterd to the wind as it goes.

Steve Carter's brother Tim still races I believe and could put you in touch with Steve I would think. If not, there are members who could get in touch with Jim and Patti still.
