choke conversion kit?

is there a kit of some sort that will let me change the electric choke on my carb to a manual choke?
what kind of skill do i need to take down, clean, and rebuild my carb? is that a hard thing to do?

Should be able to get a choke kit at most mcparts houses, along with a rebuild kit and a gallon of carb dip. Not too hard to clean/rebuild carbs. Hint-take a piece of cardboard/heavy poster board and do a layout of the screw patterns, punch a hole in the approximate locations and put that screw in that hole. Makes it easier to reassemble the first few times. I do it even for other areas as well, like water pumps when you have a bunch of different size and length bolts or screws.

okay i got the manual choke installed. however, the carb was tuned to work without the choke working and now that it does work, when i have it closed it starts up great and then just dies back out after a few seconds. how do i retune the carb so that it works with the choke closed for a few minutes?

and what i mean when i say tuned to work i mean, the best a carb can work without a working choke. always having to be feathered until it warms up and idling like a box of rocks.
