I don't think it is quite ready to be open yet. I can't wait to run it.

Hopefully someone in the know will keep us informed of the opening status of this.

I believe there is just one more bridge to be built and it will be done. :)

I don't want to spoil the presentation, but I know a little kitty ;) who says it should (will) be opened this year :p

There may be some major problems getting to the trailhead in the near future- in the recent storms the 1501 road has had some damage to it. Water running down the road creating erosion moving the creek. has a few rock that a dozer to CAT need to move.
IF it continues we may be in the same situation as Copper City is.
Fish crossing the road which is now a stream..........
YIKES~ We need to get a CAT or dozer up there quick before this happens!

Are you talking from the north side (hwy410) or the south side (hwy12)?

I remember a while back that the road on the south side washed out. I was really surprised that it was put back in, made for an excellent run up to the trail. Took us two days to cut through all the trees downed on the trail.

The 410 side - or off the Lower Nile Loop Road :uhoh2:
Right now there is a lot of ice rather than snow in the area
