Coos Bay Area wheelin' the end of August...

Howdy all down there!!! :jeepnirvana: Our club is gonna be down in the coos bay area for the Son of a Beach E.B. event the end of August (most of us will be down on the 26th!)....We want to hit up a couple trails around the area, and were wondering if a club down there might be interested in showing us around!!!:worship:

Closest club is in Roseburg these days I believe.

Thanks Grumpy, well maybe someone familiar with the area could show us around anyhow...

The Early Bronco event Son O' Beach actually takes place August 28 - 30th for 2009 and is held in the Tillamook State Forest on Friday and falls over to the Sand Lake Recreation area on Saturday.

Coos Bay is actually about 150 miles south of Sand Lake and almost 200 miles South of the Tillamook State Forest.

Here is a link to the Son O' Beach event website:

If you are vacationing to the South in Coos Bay earlier in the week before heading to Son O' Beach and are looking for a club to show you the areas...

There are the Umqua Valley Timber Cruisers in Roseburg, Oregon
Contact: Alan Paulson
Phone: 541-679-0571

And the Northwest Sand Dueces in Florence (sand dunes only club)
Contact: Lance Schiedler
Phone: 503-516-8519

Good luck, have fun and be safe!

Crystal is right, we're quite a bit south, but if you are coming this far down, I'd be happy to help.
