Willamette TMP

30 day comment period opened on the 24th of August. See it at: http://www.fs.fed.us/r6/willamette/m...orestwide.html

Have not seen it, but doubt we get much if anything.

If you need a hard copy, call Ryan Brown at 541-782-5211, or at: rnbrown@fs.fed.us She will be happy to get you what you need.

Did a fast look at the EA, only two alternatives, "no action" and the proposed.

All we are getting is existing roads that will be open to all vehicles.

You know, gaining area is better than losing it....at least it's a step in the right direction! Also, down the road it may open up opportunities to improve (ie. introduce challenging area on that system!:icon_mrgreen:)...

Holy crap there's ALOT open up there (just took a look at the maps of the areas!), with the exception of a few areas open only seasonally, I see all kinds of area to explore!!!

Unfortunatly, most (if not all) of the travel plans, mislead the public by implying there are plentiful roads, and ample access to our National Forests. When the reality is there is little to no class II opportunities offered.
People that use the roads and trails that are going to be closed, need to fight for their access.
