An excellent thought and action on their part, with two things that come immediately to mind..

1- street legal

2- funding if the county is going to force the issue and take them over as far as maintence. Calif. is in as bad or worse shape for $$$$$ as either Washington or Oregon trying to find money for road maint.

We have an issue here that the county is looking into on an old forest service road that FS let go of since it was primarily a haul road for Willamette, now Weyco. They have gated it and access is tight for folks wanting ti recreate on the river and access for miners.
