Region 2 Delegates Meeting
Director Dan Morris called the meeting to order at 7:45 PM. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited and a moment of silence for the sick and departed was observed.
Minutes: A motion was made by Derrick Clark (Rednecks and Rugrats) seconded by Michael Mayfarth (Webfooters) to accept the minutes as read. Motion passed.
Treasurerís Report: We are shopping around for a new bank with zero fees. Gary Marshall and Edward motion made to get the go ahead to acquire a new bank. A motion was made to accept the treasurerís report as read. Thank you Derrick Clark(Rednecks&Rugrats) & John George (QuadraPaws)
We Did It/Club Power: no report
Naches: Please see verbiage on Naches Seasonal Closure. For further observation please go to the PNW4WDA website for more details. The Comment session ends on February 25th. It is imperative we get our comments in.
Evans Creek: March 31st is the opening date for Evanís Creek. Please sign up for hosting at the campground
Elbe: no report. Please do not put straw down for any of your events. Ask Dan Morris if you need further details
Tahuya: Everything is open. DNR is asking us if we would like the opportunity to build a new trail by 84S. The Tahuya Clean-up is on February 17th.
Land Matters: Jim Putman wanted to thank everyone for taking the time to fill out the land use forms last month. We overwhelmed the Forest Service with documents. So far we are the only group to have signed up to Adopt Every Trail that was on the list.
Adopt A Trails- Please turn in your Adopt A Trail Forms. So far the Hombres, (Copper City) and Offroad Animals (East&West 684 side of the Naches) ShinDig Wheelers (Little Rattlesnake) & Yakima Ridge Runners (615,621 at Rimrock) have signed up to adopt these trails. Please look at some of the smaller trails to Adopt as these are the trails that are in most trouble of being lost. There is a three year commitment when adopting the trails.
Reiter- February 22nd is the next meeting 7-9 pm
NOVA Funds- Please make sure you contact your local government representation and tell them to keep their hands off of YOUR NOVA funds.
OHV Watch: No report
Letter Writing: We need to write letters and send a copy to Angie.
Membership: Membership will be handed off to Dianna Stafford
Way & Means: There is an order in for 6inch stickers, please contact Tiffany Morris if you would like to purchase.
PR: PR Booth will be at the SwapMeet in March. If you are interested, please contact her. A DVD will be playing of recent and old pictures
Future 4-Wheelers: no report
Competition: Looking for more people to join the Over the Hill Gang. Summer Convention will be at Looking Glass. We are looking for more opportunities to bring in money to the PNW4WDA so there will be a barrel event May 5th.
Old Business: Winter Convention over 100 people showed. Four Sponsors were introduced. 4WheelParts is a Sponsor for PNW4WDA. We will continue to advertise our tri-folds in their stores and we appreciate your help for the cause. Please work with your clubs to sign up for the 4WheelParts Club program. Look for it to be posted on PNW4WDA website for links for information on the program. First sale is March 17, June 9, August 11th & October 13th for the 4WheelParts sales. Please talk to your clubs about participating with your club and show off your rigs.
