Region 2 Delegates Meeting
Director Dan Morris called the meeting to order at 7:30 PM. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited and a moment of silence for the sick and departed was observed.
Minutes: A motion was made by Jim Putman and Derrick Clark seconded by to accept the minutes as posted on the PNW4WDA forum. Motion passed.
Treasurer’s Report: Derrick Clark made a motion that the Treasurer’s report be accepted as read, seconded by John George. Motion passed.
We Did It/Club Power: No report
Evans Creek: Open until December 15th. Brush piles should be taken away this week. Christmas Tree permits are available.
Elbe: Work party was a success. Lots of work was done on the Mainline and Alder Loop. Heath has received some trailer prices averaging around $3400-$4000 for a 14,000 lbs. trailer. Delegates will be asked to go back to their clubs and ask for donations to have cash in hand to help purchase the trailer. Diana Stafford made a motion that Regions authorize the donation up to $2000 dollars to match the dollar amount to purchase the trailer. Edward seconded the motion. Plans for a new campground were shown. The old campground will be put back to the forest use.
Tahuya: John reports that the Forest Watch is eligible for hours toward the Discover Pass. Work Party is happening Nov 17th and 18th . Yellow Jacket will be brought back close to its original creation.
Land Matters: State meetings Yakima January 19th, Westside January 26th at the King Oscar Hotel in Pacific, both start at 9:00am. There will be several different speakers. NEPA 101 will be on hand to give a class to inform us on how to fill out the forms and explain the process. Oregon’s state meeting is January 12th at Warn Headquarters. Reiter Trails is having a Trail Days, the PNW PR booth will be there in full force this Saturday November 17th. Other open house dates are Dec 2, Jan 12th 20th Feb 9 th and 17th. Bob Pacific was awarded his plaque at the last meeting. Steve Johnson will be patrolling the area.

Future 4-Wheelers: no report
Competition: We are working on a competition website to post rules. Please email or call Jon if you would like new rules and specs. So far 7 races are planned for next year. Please apply for sponsorship if you would like to be the first to be sponsored for your race. Cadillac Ranch looks to be a possible place to have races as well as Ethel. Camas Valley is interested in hosting some races as well as Longview. We are looking for new drag lights to purchase. The new bylaws are posted in the Tri Power, please read and ask questions.

New business: Region 2 Bylaws need to be looked at and possibly updated.
Angie is looking for some ideas regarding sponsorship for a new Jeep Dealership and a possible Tech line for people needing online tech help. Also a meeting room is available.
Snow Jam hosted by County Line Offroaders will be Saturday January 19th. Lots of fun, prizes and really excellent Chili!
