January 2013 Meeting Minutes
Region 2 Delegates Meeting
Director Dan Morris called the meeting to order at 7:30 PM. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited and a moment of silence for the sick and departed was observed.
Minutes: A motion was made by Connie Largen and Gary Marshall seconded by to accept the minutes as posted on the PNW4WDA forum. Motion passed.
Treasurer’s Report: Gary Marshall made a motion that the Treasurer’s report be accepted as read, seconded by John George. Motion passed.
We Did It/Club Power: No report
Evans Creek: closed
Elbe: Plans for new Campground were shown. A new campground will allow more room with two new shelters. Snow Jam is this weekend and the Bobby Long Memorial is January 26th. Heath states we are still shopping for a trailer. So far donations from Region 2 Clubs total up to $3050.
Tahuya: Work has been done at Tahuya. Nine more miles of trail is going to be added within 2014 timeframe. The November work party was a success. South Loop was also worked on. Date of the June Fun Run is June 15th.
Land Matters: Legislature is looking to raise some funds via the gas tax. Sadie Creek has a chairperson position for Land Matters that is available. If there is a club that is interested, please contact Jim Putman.

Membership: Nothing new to report
PR: Snow Jam is this weekend, State meeting on the Eastside this Weekend.
Future 4-Wheelers: Looking for logo help, contact Brody Morris with some good ideas
Competition: New competition books are available
Old Business: by laws will be looked at next month

Gary Marshall made a motion to accept all positions as nominated. John George seconded motion.

New business: New Rosters are easy to run, sign in and print out a new roster for your club.
Snow Jam hosted by County Line Offroaders will be Saturday January 19th. Lots of fun, prizes and really excellent Chili!
Appeal of the NOVA lawsuit was rejected. Information is posted in the WOHVA newsletter.
Cans for Kids is still in operation. $489 has been raised so far.
Winter Convention is coming up, pre order your shirts and mugs.
