The decision was finalized back in January and we are stuck with it unless a lawsuit is filed. I feel that any action by the region will wait until either the Sisters RD makes their plan, or the other irons that the region has burning are settled.
They created a non-motorized buffer next to a wilderness area, and closed a wagon road that has seen motorized use for over a century.(the first transcontintal race traveled over it.) That decision for a suit would be above my pay grade, and rest with the region (I no longer a member of), or the state director/PNW. Remains to be seen if it would be worthwhile.
