Talking Todays mission: Puddle elminination!

I took my son puddle stomping earlier. Couldn't resist posting the pictures....

The puddle he is playing in, normally spans across the road and is about 6 inches deep.

My daughter got in on it too. Straight from the bus to the puddle!

This............will not end well.

They both went down on their butts. Tommy ended up in the deepest part of the puddle. He was pissed afterwards! Wet and cold, wet and cold, that's all he would say as we walked to the house.

Thanks for bringing back some fond memories. I remember growing up down south where during the summers it rained (a lot) every afternoon. The ditchs were not deep enough to contain the rainfall. The water was 6" deep in the roads and we would blast thru on our bicycles. The pavement and hot weather warmed the water. Good Times!!

Thank you! They had a ton of fun, plus it makes them tired. They should go to bed without a fight tonight.

I will admit that I haven't outgrown the need to puddle stomp. I just do it with the Jeep now.

Awesome post!! If life could only stay this simple. And thanks for reminding us that sometimes we just have to puddle stomp and enjoy life. I think this is the best post all day!!!

Thank you! It's my Birthday today and I didn't feel like sitting in the house all day doing chores....

So we got out a little! Besides, who likes to work on their B-day?

No problem!

I had to share those moments. They don't last long and with life and our days being as short as they are, I thought everybody might enjoy the moments of joy that kids can bring.
