Yacolt Burn Trails in Canada's 4WD Magazine
WOW! We received a super nice 4-page spread in the January issue of Canada's 4WD Magazine for the Yacolt Burn Trail system and Piston's Wild Motorsports.
Special thanks to Albert Vandervelde for writing such a great article. Extra special thanks to his pilot for the October 16th BFG Day, Dustin Braaten for being so well informed about the Yacolt Burn Trail Project and sharing his enthusiam with Albert. Dustin is a member of Piston's Wild Motorsports as well as the NW Chapter President of NAXJA (North American XJ Association). Good PR is very hard to get - getting accurate PR is almost impossible. Great work Dustin! Lots of "front and center" pics in the article for Piston's Wild members, Winton and Maureen Johdahl in their green LJ "Lucky Jeep" (the Jondahl's are also members of POR Wheelers). Some nice shots of one of Piston's Wild newest members Daryl Keenan tip-toeing his LJ into the big mud hole and Joey Verpoorten "taking a break" in his beautiful red XJ. Also along for the ride that day was Steve Calder with BF Goodrich riding up front with Darel Crowder in his yellow CJ. Piston's Wild long time member, Mr. Winters wins the lottery with his "old iron" brown CJ-5 securing the magazine's cover shot for January. Way to go my friend!
