Tool Drive for The Trummert Family
Jammer & Carmen Trummert and family from the Spanaway Moonshiners Jeep Club suffered a major fire on January 14, 2011. Their 7500 sq ft shop was completely destroyed along with its contents. Todd their 17 year old son received severe burns on his hand and spent several days at Harborview. Happy to report his hand is now healing well. The contents of the shop included their motorhome, enclosed trailer, several jeeps, tractors, lawn equipment, shovels, rakes and all of their tools. When I say tools, I mean Jammer had not only his which many of us have benefited from but he also had inherited his dads and brothers. Some of this is covered by insurance but it will never come close to replacing everything they lost. Julie Kehrberg and the Elderado Dust Devils are sponsoring a tool/money drive at the Spanaway Moonshiners Swap Meet, March 13th. One of their members is working with SnapOn to get a good deal and said that corporate will make any monetary donations go further. Donation will be accepted at the Public Relations booth located in the ShowPlex at the Swap Meet. This family has always been there to help other people now it is our chance to do the same for them. Thank you.
