L. T. Murray Tour (August 21st, 2009)
This is Green Dot Road Tour I thought I would share with you.
I know this is not a hard core wheeling area but some of these roads are loose so 4 Wheel Drive helps.
This place would be a lot of fun if there was snow on the ground.

L. T. Murray Tour
August 21st, 2009
On August 21st, 2009 we meet at Thorp Fruit and Antique Mall off I-90.
I rode shotgun with Jerry.
Here are the rigs of the day.
smbisig's work rig.
speeD Bump and his friend's XJs.
We headed out shortly after 9 AM for the L. T. Murray.
Coming into the Joe Watt Canyon Road L. T. Murray entrance.
Just past the gate most aired down on Hutchins Road.
A few miles up we turned left on Tamarack Ridge Road.
Up on top of the ridge the views were great.
Looking toward Cle Elum.
Down there is the 4wheelingplus.com shop.
Taking a break.
This part was a little steep dropping down.
Everyone down at the bottom.
At the end of a dead-end Green Dot Road.
Everyone got turn around and headed up the ridge.
We stopped in the shade for a lunch break.
Very cool rig!
Jerry's truck camp ready!
After lunch we headed back down.
Here we are going back out the gate.
A few people left the group.
A few miles down the payment we turned back into the L. T. Murray on Durr Road.
Up on top of the Umtanum Ridge.
Heading out to see if we can see the Yakima River Canyon on a Green Dot road.
Here is looking down at the Yakima River Canyon.
This was kind of strange looking. It looks like a crater or a big explosion happened.
Zoom in view of the river.
The view from the end of the Green Dot road.
Back up on the area we came from on Umtanum Ridge.
Here everyone is saying their goodbyes.
We headed out Durr Road onto Sheep Company Road and took a left on North Wenas Road to head toward Selah. Others left different ways.
This was a very fun day thanks to all who came.
I apologize for not having all the road names. I am new to this area and can not find my L. T. Murray since I moved.
