Default transfer case question

I have an S10 with a 2.8L 700R4 with a drivers drop 231

what Transfer case will bolt in place of that... I'm looking for a passanger drop

would one out of a 884-86 cherokee work? as they had the same set-up i think

If both the round NP pattern, but depends on the spline count and stick out. But all the XJ's were a driver drop. Might look to a 208 out of either a full size early 80's gm or maybe a dodge.

231/241 out of a 80's dodge will work. Just have to swap out the input gear from 26 or 29 to the correct 27 spline that you need.
