OK Sorry for the confusion, there are a few statements, that are simply typo's I believe. It is driveline hoops that need to be 1/4" by 1". And .120 wall thickness is what was meant not 2.0. So 1.75" X 1.20" tube would be more than adequate by our rule book. There is a bylaw proposal up for vote to accept 1.50" x1.20" as acceptable, to make rigs built to some of the other sanctioning groups rule specs, acceptable for our racing as well. Hope this helps.
