Default State Lands meeting in Eastern Washington?

Is there going to be a Washington State Lands meeting in Eastern Washington in 2012? If So, when and where. I need the date soon so I can plan for it.

Yes, there will be a meeting.. place and date yet to be determined. I currently have January 21 or 22, 28 or 29 and Feb 3rd and 4th open.. so one of those dates and location.. I hope Earl or someone from that side could can help me in finding a good location. Please chime in and let me know.. I am thinking the 21st or 22nd this side (West) and we will see what dates workout best.

Again please chime in and let me know.

Might want to check with Randy on when his is. Since Region 3 is a split region, most of the folks there want to attend both meetings. The usual practice for Oregon is to have the State and Region 6 meeting on the same day to cut down on travel.

Just a thought.

I will move our Wedding anniversary trip up a weekend like we did last year in case the meeting is on 21 or 22. Saturday February 4th is not an option for me since we are hosting our annual Eastern Washington Adventures Meet & Greet Slab run then.

I am open to ideas folks.. this is all new to me. I am also open to ideas of where to have the meetings..

I am seeing that the 21 or 22 will be West side.. after that I am open. Just if we do a Sunday eastside I need to be on the road early enough to get home and ready for the work week.. Darn Job! So allowing for drive time for me. I am flexible that really these are your meetings, I am just the person who will facilitate and make the arrangements for speakers..

I am open to topics and speakers as well. I just need to make sure I get them on the schedule with enough notice.

Would love to see suggestions and perhaps cooridination of efforts. Often times we(me for sure)get so busy and are pulled in different directions. I rely on others to help be my ears and eyes. A true network of people on the ground with their ear to the ground or is it tires in our case?

I will try and post ideas as I have them or get them!

Any word yet? I need a date soon so I can make the meeting. I have some other events on hold and if there is not a date soon, I might be wheeling instead of attending the States Land Meeting.

Is this going to be in Spokane? Or the other "Eastern Washington"?
If not Spokane, I'd like to see the title of this thread corrected.

Thanks,

Thanks,
The same Eastern Washington as it has been in the past. The name is correct: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eastern_Washington

Just like down here, anything over the crest of the Cascades is the eastern part of the state for those living in the rain belt.
