Region 2 Delegates Meeting
11/17/2011
Tacoma, WA

Director Dan Morris called the meeting to order at 7:30 PM. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited and a moment of silence for the sick and departed was observed.


Minutes: A motion was made by Derrick Clark (Rednecks and Rugrats) seconded Jeff Thompson Oly4Wheelers to accept the minutes as printed in the Tri-Power. Motion passed.

Treasurer’s Report: motion made to accept the treasurer’s report as read. Thank you Derrick Clark, Jeff Thompson, Oly4Wheelers seconded
We Did It/Club Power: please turn in your paperwork.

Naches: Closed for the season

Evans Creek: December 15th is the seasonal closure for Evans Creek.

Elbe: permission has been granted to turn some old roads into useable recreation area. The DNR has been very gracious to allow us to do some rock obstacles.
Tahuya: Trails are wet. Work party is happening this weekend. The excavator will be in use.

Land Matters: The Naches meeting was standing room only. A basic trails seminar was given. The bottom line is “if the trails to do not fit the commission, they will have to close it”. A committee will be formed of user groups to determine usage of the trails. Stay tuned for who can take part in the selection process for the TWIG committee. January 10th is the next TWIG meeting at the Naches Ranger District office, 7:00pm.
WTA is increasing their efforts in the Salmon La Sac area to pressure the Forest Service area to keep out ORV’s.

PR: sent paperwork in for a booth at the Moonshiner’s Swap meet

Future 4-Wheelers: Brody asked his club County Line would donate money for the Future4Wheelers.

Competition: Tacoma Dome is coming up quick.

Old Business: summer convention, what to do with our funds? Total net income of Summer Convention Motion was made to split the 1084.16 to be split to Region two and the remaining amount to be split up amongst the club to deal with themselves.
Treasurer position is still open. Your name must be nominated by the 3/10/12 Boardmeeting.

WHOVA meeting Sunday 10-3 at Clover Park Technical College.
Cascade 4x4’s is looking for donations for the Old Soldiers Home in Orting. Offroad Animals would like to donate monies and Region 2 will donate funds for the Old Soldiers Home in Orting. Thanks Everyone!
