Default WA Legislative 2012 Cut Off Calendar

The Legislators have a short (60) day session this year in Olympia, January 9 to March 8. The attachment gives you an idea of the timeframe they must work within; and the last day to read committee reports to last day to consider opposite house bills.

The Governor has five days, excluding Sundays, to take action on any bill passed by the Legislature, provided adjournment does not occur within those five days.

A little history on how our elected officials spend their days, whether 60 or 104 day session.
