I asked my Dad about the guys in the picture...

The driver is Bob Black from Edgewood National and his brother in law (I think) riding with him. The guy standing next to the jeep is Jimmy Hopper also from Edgewood National. --Dad

Wow, that's really cool Byran.

My "old school" pics only go back to the early '90s.

Hey Bryan, I'm not sure you know me but Glen and Norma Humphrey are my folks. They sent me the link to your pics through my cousin Kenny Bronk. Boy do they bring back some memories. I completely forgot about my dads green CJ. Some of my fondest memories are of wheeling in the 74' Yellow CJ "GYRO GEAR LOOSE". Thank you for posting up all these great memories. If you are ever passing through Coeur d'Alene hit me up.

PS: Does anyone know who bought or has my Dad's old 1974 Yellow CJ-5? It had the lettering painted on both sides of the hood "Gyro Gear Loose". He can't remember who bought it but thought it was someone in the PNW4WDA.

That was a long time ago and my memory is a tad foggy...didn't you have a sister? And didn't your dad always sing "on the road again" over the CB when the club got back on pavement?

Any good wheeling out that direction? I know the North Idaho Trailblazers are big in that area...are you a member?

All these old Jeep pictures sure bring back all those memories! Seems like so long ago! When I was Growing up our family first belonged to the Desert Rats, and after a few years our family joined the Nitty Gritty.
