Default A Comemnt On Us...

In this comment from a member of the Utah off road .org is the crux of the matter...

Unfortunately its directly related to the apathy within the the motorized community. We should be on the offense, we should be putting massive industry supported proposals on the Presidents desk asking for areas re-opened to motorized traffic, we could be taking trail closure cases to court. However despite the fact we have vastly more members throughout Utah and the US, it doesn't hold a candle to the special interests that work on equal but opposite ventures and obviously it shows in the way we re-act and not act. I long for the day we get to play some offense.

Alive and well here as well, as evidenced by the number of views as of now--26.

Sad isn't it?

A phenomenon common to this site. Other site's seem to be busy, even with our members. Go figure!

Agreed, but now how do we get them to visit, post up, and either write snail mail or email comments and support what we do. A very small section of the membership is involved with it and it really needs to be EVERY member.

Don't have an answer after 37 years.

Agreed, we have several clubs that are very active on other sites. Usually when I ask them as to why the simple answer is there's more activity there than here. Now I have to wonder how much more action this site would see if those clubs and members posted here instead or even as well. Even still to the point is even on the other sites the land issues don't get much traffic either.

Good point, Jim. I post a pile of stuff, including this, on our site, and not a lot of get comment. Kind of annoying really. I'm getting more done on Facebook right now!
