Default More Wilderness-Oregon

Sen Wyden is working on getting another year of timber payments, but at 5% less than the last round. Also included are two new wilderness areas in central and southwest Oregon, and inclusion of portions of the Rogue, Chetco, and Mollala rivers in the wild/scenic law. Oregon Treasures bill. Will be a stop gap till they get the O&C issue figured out, and they are looking to put half of those lands in lease production for timber and lock up the other half forever.

Was in the Albany Democrat/Hearld on Wednesday.
