Default Rear springs on my flatty

Ok I'm trying to get my rear suspension squared away and am looking for some opinions from you guys. The springs are a 6 leaf pack thrown together using wagoneer mains and some other stuff I can't remember. To controll axle wrap it had on some ladder bars but they need to come off due to binding issues. The problem is without the ladder bars the springs are way too soft and wrap too much. Anybody out there still running leaf packs built off of wagoneer mains? I have another set of stock wagy springs but would like to have some ideas before I start doing the testing and trial and error.
