Where is this going to be held at?

In other words: what city in Oregon is the nearest city to the event?

Grants Pass is the largest nearby city, then Cave Junction and then O'Brien is where the trailhead is at...it is a great event and worth going to if you have not ever attended. You will see the effects of the Biscuit Fire over time. The Saturday night dinner is awesome.

Takes off out of O'Brien (4 miles or so south of Cave Junction), ends up about 1/2 way between Cave Junction and the coast. Campground is on a bench at the confluence of Baldface Creek and the Smith River, dandy swimming spot, and they put on a right decent feed for Sat night and Sun am.

Thanks for posting the answers Beth and Art. I've been away from the computer for a couple of days.

Lee and I had a great time down there. Big thanks to Randy and Mona and Dan and Ann for showing us around. This was a great event and well worth the time to drive the 400 miles too get there. I will post up some pics in the run report area when I get them off of the camera.
