OK, I have no idea where thw culvert ,or the trail hardening is going to be.... I was told by someone else today that they are not planning on doing anything at the skill building area due to snow/ice...I guess we'll find out once there what we're doing...

Well, the work party turnout was great!!! Only a few camped, but was fun nonetheless! Kat, Rhonda, Mark, and Leo from BEST came out Sat to lend a hand--Thanks guys and gals!Tamer members Mark, Gary, Daren, and a few others whose names escape me at the moment came out to help with the trail project. The trail hardening was near the entrance to upper mainline where a stream crossed....The culvert was already in, but the runoff from the trail was causing the exit to be muddy....so we put in silt fencing and water diversion trenches, which almost instantly stopped the murkiness!!! After that was done, we proceeded to lay down hardening and secure it with tiedowns/gravel....turned out really nice; DNR was pleased with the outcome.
Ed Tenney, Roger and Jana, along with a few others came out also to put up an Info sign at the entrance to Lower Mainline (at the Shoefly); Didn't get to see it til Sunday morning....But it looks Fantastic!!!! GREAT JOB guys and gals!:super:
I forgot my camera in the tow rig all weekend, therefore I did not get any pics... But there were lots of pics taken, and will try to get a few up here...
