Default Torklift Step?

Anyone running the Torklift steps? Thinking about adding them to my truck camper.

I've have had a set for years. The only thing is that the camper does not always set at the right heigth for the treads to be level. You can set the steps on a couple of boards to make things better. But that is a hassle and the boards slip. I just treat the stairs like a ladder. Carefully climb with my hand on the grab rail. And as I come down I turn arround and face the camper and with my hand on the handrail I come down. The only people that have a problem with them are those who don't listen or understand how I tell them to use the stairs. Also only one person at a time. Otherwise I'd get another set.

I did have another set and the kids were playing on them a little to rough. The steps collapsed. I made a set of stair stringers and using what was lets I assembled another set. They did not fold up and were a hassle to put away. These were very stout. I wish I had not let that set go when I got another camper.

Thanks for the opinion. I ordered them today. Didn't think about the ground needing to be flat.

The Torklift steps worked awesome. I ordered the 6step version. At this time, 4 steps was more than enough for my Arctic Fox truck camper.
