Default clout alert NOVA funds

Your Nonhighway & Offroad Vehicle Activities (NOVA) funds were STOLEN during
a last minute Legislative Budget action in the 2009 legislative session.
The NMA has a lawsuit pending in an attempt to restore those funds to their
rightful owners (YOU) but that lawsuit still has not had its day in court.

YOU need to let your personal state legislators (ALL 3 of them) know that
you want them to correct this theft of your NOVA funds NOW!

They are just now really starting to focus on the State Budget and that is
where your NOVA funds were stolen and given to State Parks providing you
with asbsolutely no beneift from your personal off road gas tax refund and
ORV sticker purchases that fund NOVA.

The hyperlink below takes you to documents providing you with a complete
history of NOVA so you can review and understand the situation we are now in
with our NOVA funds.

Please contact your legislators via
http://apps.leg.wa.gov/DistrictFinder/Default.aspx, immediately! Select
your Senator's website from the list of your personal legislators on that
web page. Sample text that you can copy and paste into the EMAIL link ON
THAT SITE is provided below, or write your own. It is vital that you make
your voice heard on this important issue! (Please USE the EMAIL link SHOWN
on the LINKED SITE in this alert.)

Do NOT use regular Internet email as that is very unlikely to get to your
legislator in time.

USING THE LINKED SITE above for your legislator:

Just CLICK on the green colored "E-mail" hot link right below your
legislator's phone numbers on the page provided in this alert.

Do check the box sending this to ALL of your personal legislators.

Leave the 4 digit Bill # box BLANK that is provided on the linked site.

Enter {NOVA funds} in the Message Subject box just above where you enter
your detailed message

SAMPLE TEXT (use if it you like!) You can just copy and paste it into the
form on the hot linked site:

Please do not allocate offroad vehicle (ORV) permit revenue or the fuel tax
revenue from offroad vehicle use to anything but the Nonhighway and Offroad
Vehicle Activities (NOVA) account during the creation of this year's budget.
This money was directed to State Parks in 2009 where it provides absolutely
no benefit to those who set up the NOVA fund and contributed to it in good
faith believing legislative promises that it would be used for their
benefit.

Please go to
http://www.wohva.org/content.aspx?pa...odule_id=58820
to read the complete history regarding these NOVA funds.

I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Please call the Legislative Hotline: 1-800-562-6000 if by some chance you
cannot use the email on the link above. Then read your voice message to
this legislator.

Got this up on our site earlier, and sent a copy to my favorite State Senator and his Legislative Aide.
