Hopefully the Region Director or State Director can/has got something out to all the coast/valley/portland area papers. At least it is still in scoping, but now is the time to get them pointed back in the right direction when they are forming the alternatives.

Word I'm getting is the FS is getting some pressure from the media after the STRD gang started making noise about not putting up notices, and not mentioning the 103 miles of trail closure in what little info thay have released. Seems there's some melt down in progress.Fs is getting a bit defensive...
