GPS. So I am in the market for a GPS unit for the jeep. I need one that shows FS roads and trails and has a speeo and odo built in. This would be a dash mounted unit. What are you using and pros and cons of it. Thanks Jim

A lot of our club members use one of Garmin nuvi models. I use one so the DNR can read the info I send them since they have Garmin programs. Most trail mapping has to be uploaded on most of the GPSs I have been around. My Garmin is my Speedometer on a few of the rigs I drive.

For High end check out Lowrance. I have a Garmin Zumo 550. It has satellite radio and bluetooth. I don't use either. The Zumo series is water proof to 3ft. Most Garmin can have typography maps added. The Typography mapping adds most FS roads.
