There was no meeting for December and our January meeting was postponed due to Snopocalypse 2012

Region 2 Delegates Meeting

Director Dan Morris called the meeting to order at 7:35 PM. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited and a moment of silence for the sick and departed was observed.


Minutes: A motion was made by Derrick Clark (Rednecks and Rugrats) seconded by Kathy
Greenwood (OffRoad Animals) to accept the minutes as read. Motion passed.

Treasurer’s Report: motion made to accept the treasurer’s report as read. Thank you Derrick Clark, Kathy Greenwood(Offroad Animals).

We Did It/Club Power: A new format for the We Did It is in the works. Please keep turning in paperwork for any work done. A request was made to have forms available on the PNW4WDA forum

Naches: please see Land Matters report from Jim Putman

Evans Creek: December 15th is the seasonal closure for Evans Creek. A Forest Service Meeting was held last week and the Forest Service is looking for some volunteers to be camp host and work parties. A new paperwork form is available for Hosting and should be available on the PNW4WDA forum. Look for Evans Creek to open back up in March

Elbe: There’s some snow at Elbe. We are also looking to fill some volunteer hours for Elbe.
Tahuya: Everything is open at Tahuya. Watch out for downed trees. Make sure to have your Discover Pass with you.

Land Matters: Jim Putman sat in on two meetings for the House Bill 2153 which would allow two license plate numbers on your Discover Pass should it pass. There is another bill 2217 that would allow one pass per household transferable to any and all vehicles you own. The State Park claims they have written 3500 tickets due to Lack of Discover Pass. DNR has claimed to have written 200 tickets. Jim asked the house to let the purchaser of the pass determine where their funds go for example, funds could go.

Scoping process for the seasonal closure for Naches: This seasonal closure allows the Forest Rangers to open or close trails due to specific weather conditions.
Please take this form back to your clubs and email your comments. The email address is available on the form, this must be done by February 25th.
Naches Ranger District Trail Information
Please go through the paperwork and pick your favorite trail and turn in your paperwork. There is a multitude of options for us to help keep our trails open.


OHV Watch: No report

Membership: no report

Way & Means: no report

PR: PR was done at the Tacoma Dome for Monster Jam. PR was also done at County Line Snow Jam.

Future 4-Wheelers: At Winter convention there will be a room available for meetings, please see Brody Morris

Competition: Monster Jam had a good turnout. Thanks Marty for the great roll over.

Old Business: Can we pay our dues online? We are still working on the process, so please mail your check if you need to. Please see PNW4WDA for updates on the main page
New Business: Tacoma Webfooters will not be having a Playday this year. They will be looking into having a Poker Run instead
Truck Fest is coming up and Rob is looking to have rigs on display. 4WheelParts would like to have a PNW4WDA club program that will offer discounts for products and start having us for events. Truck Fest is April 14th and 15th. Look for some training sessions on Winching and Hi Lift Jack use.
County Line Offroaders had Snow Jam this last weekend. A good time was had by all.
