Manastash Road Open

CLE ELUM—Forest Service Road 3100, Manastash is now open to Rider’s Camp and Manastash Camp, as well as the popular Manastash Lake trailhead. The road remains closed at Buck Meadows where a washout prevents drivers from crossing Manastash Creek on FS Road 3100. Access to Frost Meadows, Shoestring trailhead, Taneum Lake trailhead, Quartz Mountain and other areas north of Manastash Creek is possible via FS Road 3300, 3330 and 3111

Road construction and repair work will be ongoing along FS 3100 for many weeks to come. Motorists should expect temporary delays.

Repairs at the Buck Meadows washout are expected to begin in mid-October 2012.

The mission of the U.S. Forest Service is to sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of the nation's forests and grasslands to meet the needs of present and future generations. Recreational activities on our lands contribute $14.5 billion annually to the U.S. economy. The agency manages 193 million acres of public land, provides assistance to state and private landowners, and maintains the largest forestry research organization in the world.
