Default Willamette NF Road Use Meetings

Short notice--

Tuesday, Sept 23,2014-5:30 to 7:30 PM at Sweet Home Ranger District 3225 Hwy 20, Sweet Home, OR and the next evening, Sept 24th at the Gates Fire House, 140 E Sorbin St., Gates OR.

These are work on strategy for the next round of closures to get down to sustainable road system. Maps will be available to mark roads/trails that you use and/or areas you access.

Can access the planning at: www.fs.usda.gov/goto/willamette/roads

For an interactive mapping tool that will let you draw on digital mapping tool and comment, go to: http://go.usa.gov/KqGH

Check with your local Ranger District or Forest and see where they are in the process. I had a meeting on this up in Detroit slip by, not knowing it was going to happen.

This is the second phase of Travel Management and it will be a bigger shock than the first go around. Here is where you will lose big time.
