One question I have is, do we want to sell space at the bottom of the calender for an add? Region 3 did that with our calenders to help off set the printing cost. We did not have a hard time selling it.

I say that is a great Idea, selling the Space at the bottom that is

If your doing this as a "50th Anniversary" project, how does this sound? Use pictures from the last 50 years, starting with the oldest in January then go in order, in increments of (about) 5 years between pictures, ending with a current picture for December.
Just threw that out for a little discussion.

Or, if you get enough good pictures, collections of pictures from each time period.
Maybe one large "best" picture and a few smaller "runners up" around it.

Arlene is going to be bringing this up at the Board Meeting on Saturday. They will discuss the money matters for it. After that we will have a good idea of the cost we will be selling them for and how much to sell the bottom add for.

Also another idea that was brought up was selling dates on the calender. For example:
If the Vancouver 4 Wheelers wanted to put the date of their anniversary, they pay X amount and if would be put in. Just like what you find in any calender for The 4th Of July, Christmas, etc.

I know its been awhile since this was talked about. If people are interested in submitting pictures now is the time to start sending them in. Please post them to this thread so every one can see them and help pick the ones we are going to use.

July will be saved for Trail Jam.

August will be saved for Summer Convention.

September will be saved for Beach Cleanup.

That means there is only 9 spots left.

You can submit 1 picture or a collage of a few pictures.

Lets make this a great calendar and send in you pictures!!
