Default New section at Tahuya

Just word from the Land Coordinator, Jeff Williams, a new section on the Tahuya has been completed - "Yellow Jacket Saddle."

He stated through snow, freezing rain and dedication by the volunteers and ten hour days - the section was completed on the 17th. (On the 16th the tempature was 11 degrees)

It is little less than a half a mile long; the trail was built for moderately built vehicles - with some driver skills; it can take you all of five minutes to cross - or take all day - depends on the driver. AB

it used to just be Yellow jacket hill. I think that was because for a long time there was a yellow rain jacket hanging from a tree. Why they added the "saddle" I dont know.

There is an updated map here at this link
