Is that just an OK for the 'Trail Jam' or for anyone to run it? 'Trail Jam' is mid July if I recollect correctly?

'Thank you' for the response & information, anything yet on the trail parameters?

The Jamboree gets no special consideration for trail use. The trail must be open to the public before the Jamboree, for the event to use the trail.

The Trail jamboree operates under permit from the Forest Service. If and when the trail opens the Jamboree must have the trail listed in the travel plan section of the permit in order to run the trail during the event.

Every trail the Jamboree runs is included in the travel plan section of the permit. # of vehicles, direction, times, dates, guestimate of the # of people is all part of the travel plan.

Many specialist within the Forest Service review the permit application. Each specialist signs off that all is well on the section of the permit that applies to the type of work the specialist does. Then the permit is reviewed by the District Ranger. If all is in order the permit is authorized.

Any updates as to when this trail will be available to run? or is it just waiting for the 1st ones to run/open it? I know from the past it usually has several down trees, is this new trail route easily identifiable?

Oops, North (bottom) end of the trail at the end of the 1501 Little Rattlesnake road. We weren't brave enough to try it from the south (upper) end due to all the snow at the 1500 rd/Cash Prairie intersection.

Did you go into the trail at all, on foot or drive it partially?
