Operation Shore Patrol Award from Washington State Parks

October 8th, 2007 - At the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission meeting held on August 10th in Westport the association was awarded recognition for the on-going commitment to their annual coastal cleanup – Operation Shore Patrol. You can view the award here.

Emergency Restrictions in Effect for Juniper Dunes

May 23rd, 2007 - Emergency restrictions are now in effect for use of public lands in the Juniper Dunes area of Franklin County, northeast of the Tri-Cities, Washington. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is implementing these restrictions to provide for public safety, reduce conflicts with adjoining landowners, reduce damage to adjoining private lands, and improve the experience of visitors. The WOHVA Rally was successful!

March 12, 2007 - Washington Off-Highway Vehicle Alliance had a successful rally in Olympia, on March 9, 2007. I understand the Washington Senate killed bill 5544 regarding the noise issue.
