Operation Shore Patrol
In cooperation with Washington State Parks & Recreation and the Department of Ecology, members of the association coordinate an annual beach cleanup known as Operation Shore Patrol.

This event brings local communities; civic organizations; scout troops and private industries together in support of the organization’s effort to remove debris and litter from the Washington coastline each September.

Three State Parks – Ocean City, Twin Harbors and Cape Disappointment are used as the headquarters for the event. Free camping is provided to participants by State Parks while local city and county refuse sites supply free dumping fees.

I live in Ocean Park, WA and was a participant in last years clean-up. I wouldn't mind helping out again, but I would need to ride along with someone this year as I still have my Jeep torn apart.
