Meeting was called to order at 7:30 PM by Vice Director Ed Massey (CBSC) in Earl Nettnin’s absence.
There wasn’t a flag salute as we did not have a flag. However, we did a moment of silence to honor those who were sick & had parted from us this past month including Randy Reynolds (CBSC).
There were no guests. 18 members representing 9 clubs were present.

White Pass: Ron spoke about the Conrad Fire & at this time there are no 4WD trails affected. The Forest Rehab is ongoing.
Chinook Pass: Nothing much to report. The road repairs from the floods of 2011 are the big talk. Some property owners are up in arms about the decisions as they did not know about the comment period. (After meeting note: see Yakima Herald Republic 8-18 front page article)
Oak Creek Area: Ron was asked again to be a member of the committee. If no one else is interested, he will continue to sit on it. There was a 22 acres fire burning. Now out. The 1401 will be closed at MP 3 to wheeled vehicles from August 15th to September 15th.
Beverly Dunes: Clay reported that it is open and all good. Naneum Ridge to Columbia is closed as Clockum is on fire. He rode with Mike Williams to view area. The Committee he sits on is in need of a plan to compromise for all user groups for parking and area. He said he will strive to continue to work for our best interest.
