Default ATV Grant Support Letters for Central Oregon

We are looking for support letters for grant funding for three projects in Central Oregon, as follows:

1. Rim Butte Trails- This is a new system project south of Bend, and will have about 17 miles of trail for all classes of OHV. They are seeking a grant to do two staging/camping sites of approximately three (3) acres each. These request includes restrooms, information kiosks, signage, interior and boundary fencing, and gravel roadways.

This is the beginning of getting this new system built and running.

2. Cline Buttes- This project request is to build staging on the north side of Hwy. 126, across from the Barr Road North staging area that is on the south side of the highway. It would include restroom, kiosk, signage, interior and boundary fencing. This will serve the continued development of the trail system north of Hwy. 126. Would also help with some OHV traffic crossing a highway to get from the south area to the north area.

3. Rosland Play Area- This project grant request is to replace old split rail fencing with post and pole fence. The old fence is at the end of it's lifespan. This will enhance safety and appearance of the area. This area is just out of LaPine, OR.

Please sent a letter for each project to Greg Hooper, COHVOPS at:

Please have them in to Greg no later that July 23, 2014
