Introduction Thread

Welcome to the North West. I would start out by checking out Tahuya (its on the peninsula). You are also close to Evans Creek and Elbe Hills, but read up on them a bit. I hear Elbe is pretty tight and may not work for a full sized rig.

Name is Rick. I live in Bremerton. I have know Dave Taylor for a while and found out yeaterday that is a fellow wheeler and Jeep owner. Thought I would come over and check this place out. My rig is a 90 YJ. It has 4.0, AW4 auto tranny, Atlas II 5:1. Dana 44 front with arb, nitro shafts and 300m u-joint, ford 8.8 with super 88 kit and full detroit, 4.88 gears. 4 link front and rear. fox 14" air shocks. full cage. warn winch. and some outher custom stuff. Me and my son built it when he returned from Iraq. Been wheeling here in Washington for about 10 years. Started with An S10 then moved up to a Jeep Cherokee and then finally the YJ about 2 years ago.

Welcome. There is a club in Salem (Salem Jeep) old line club with a couple of members (region 3). Need to get them fired up and wheeling again. The boss there is super good people (Greg).

Might drop a line to the Oregon State Exec. Director, their region (6) will be having a meeting/campout/work party up on Santiam Pass this month, working on Quack Attack trail.

Hello. I'm Aaron... I'm a wheel-a-holic.... ok ok... I used to be before I moved to Seattle :-/ which apparently they don't like you wheeling in the city

I'm originally from Shelton WA where there's all kinds of trails and fun stuff to do with a wheeler.

I'm 27 (on the 22nd) ... full time student and full time worker at a hotel where I do concierge/front desk/and night audit.

I just recently within last couple months traded in my supercharged car for my xterra... and I love it. Good timing too because just found out I'm going to be a first time dad.

Anyways... I hope to get to know most of you and have some great adventures.

As from the other thread, welcome. Check with the clubs in Region 1 & 2 in the about us, clubs from the main page of our site. You should be able to find one close to you, and with your interests for wheeling. Active group up there.

Congrats on the upcoming youngster.

Don't worry, when the ice and snow hits you will get a few days of wheeling in downtown

Thanks! I'm pretty excited to have my own minion to help cause some trouble ... and maybe I'm missing it but is there somewhere that goes over what areas each region is? Or are region one and two pretty much just general Washington?
