Exclamation WTB rear dana 44 for 84 cj7

the guys at woody's say i more than likely need the rear end rebuilt so i figured i would just go ahead and put a dana 44 under it if it's going to be done anyway. i THINK it's 3:31 gearing but the tag with all the numbers on it is gone. anyway, let me know what you have and we can talk about it. thanks!

If a 44 out of a 79 wagoneer might work for you, it is the offset Q-trac version, with 3.54's. Contact Greg in the Salem Jeep Club (front page, about us, clubs, region 3). Was mine, but he has the chassis now. Price is probably going to be right. Let him know I sent you.

i don't know what the difference is between the offset Qtrac and a regular wide track version from say maybe an 86 or so. i've never really changed them out myself, i was trying to find one already at 3:31 to keep the cost down for having someone regear either the front or the back because i don't believe that i have the knowledge or tools to do so. i found one on ebay out in RI that is willing to ship if i win it. i'll contact him anyway.
thanks!
